Garry Oaks Reds Awarded!
Garry Oaks Winery on Salt Spring Island continues receiving recognition for its fine wines:
In September, 2011, its 2009 Pinot Noir was named "best red" at Vancouver's Chef Meets Grape event, paired with O'Doul's Restaurant and Bar Pinot Noir cured Pacific Provider wild pink salmon and warm Island chanterelle and bacon salad.
Garry Oaks also recently learned that its 2009 Zeta placed in the Best Red Wines category of the recent Vancouver International Wine Competition. Congratulations, Marcel and elaine!
