Cowichan Bay Spot Prawn Festival

The Cowichan Bay Spot Prawn Festival, one of the region's biggest and best family-oriented festivals, is happening on the Mother's Day weekend, Saturday May 12th from 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday May 13th from noon to 4 pm.

Enjoy all day music, cooking demos, face-painting for the kids, food fair, Mothers' Day brunch and this year, wine and prawn pairing in the mezzanine of the Maritime Centre featuring the wines of Averill Creek, Enrico, Rocky Creek, Unsworth and Venturi-Schulze Vineyards. Live spot prawns right off the boat will be available for purchase and you can rub shoulders with some famous pirates!

There is free parking at the South Cowichan Lawn Tennis club and Park & Ride shuttle service all day to and from the village.
