WIVA is a marketing association administered by a volunteer Board of Directors that is open to all licensed wineries (including cideries and meaderies) on Vancouver Island and the surrounding islands of British Columbia, Canada. About the Wine Islands

Here on Vancouver Island, where rain, sun, wind and sea have such presence and diversity, we are able to make unique wines that are a reflection of particular conditions that exist nowhere else.

Two characteristics are common here. Families form the core of tradition and almost everywhere you will see their impact on the crafting of wine. Moreover, almost all Island winemakers came to their vineyard dream from some other profession, be it stonemason, teacher, doctor, manager or accountant.
